Ving Tsun (Wing Chun) Chum Kiu Form Training at Kung Fu Fxbg

At Kung Fu Fxbg, we practice a lot of forms, to develop our Kung Fu to higher levels. Chum Kiu builds on basic centerline principles developed in the first form, and adds new elements, such as stepping, and shifting (centerline orientation & body weight adjustment), as well as angling to better attack and/or defend.

Chum Kiu also trains bridging (i.e. closing to an opponent's body); timing; balance in motion; and whole body-structural unity, including how to channel relaxed hard-hitting power from the horse into hand and foot techniques.
